No Time Like the Present to Be is a poetry chapbook written about and during the acute beginning of the Covid-19 lockdown. It’s a story told in verse about dreams, sleeplessness and the dramatic lifestyle change initiated by quarantine. The chapbook was sold in 2020 as a fundraising effort for the Bay Area-based non-profit, Youth Speaks, which offers free writing workshops and performance opportunities to teenagers. The chapbook also features artwork by Brooklyn-based artist & hospice worker Bianca Siu Davies.
